The Association, a national organization whose focus is promoting education and equity for all women and girls. Nationwide the Association has over 1500 branches and 150,000 menbers.
The AAUW Educational Foundation which funds research on women and education, community action projects and fellowships and grants.
The AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund which focuses on sexual discrimination in higher education.
The Bellingham Branch of the AAUW has a diverse membership, drawing women from the Northwest Washington area. Our monthly meetings provide a venue to learn and discuss issues important to women; education, equity and positive social change.
